A chance for those stuck in a Fitness World or YMCA to get a taste for CrossFit. The workouts from this blog will send you in the right direction but the only way to truly max out your body's potential is to join a legit CrossFit Gym... I personally recommend CrossFit Optimum Performance.
First and foremost a warning needs to be put out. This blog is leaving a lot of the learning up to you. As you have no real coach on site with you, and nobody to ensure proper technique, you must follow these common sense guidelines to remain safe:
- If you are not comfortable attempting something... don't.
- If you are unsure, ask! Or spend some time on the internet looking for more information.
- Listen to your body. if you are in pain and cannot complete something, don't push yourself to a point of injury...

CrossFit is 'constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity' which continues to be the most efficient way to attain the highest level of fitness. The workouts posted on this blog will follow these guidelines as closely as possible while restricted to the confinements of a 'GloboGym'. The workouts will also carry heavy influence from OPT Training so for answers to many questions checkout his FAQ.
This Blog is only the beginning. If you like the 'hits' you get from here then get off your semi (and I say this because your heading in the right direction by following these wods) lazy ass and join a real CrossFit gym. Nothing can compare to the intensity of hitting a WOD with a full class of people AND proper technique and coaching is integral to maximize performance.
